It is a gutter lake situated in the Kashubian lake district and surrounded by beech-pine-oak trees. Picturesque route from the hotel to the lake is 2,5 km long. It is full of beautiful views and is suitable for walkers, as well as bikers or runners. After reaching the lake we come to a rest area which is perfect for a picnique or a swim in the lake. There are wooden tables and benches, a spot for a bonfire and a sandy entrance to the lake.
The lake with an area of 136 hectares and a length of 4.6 km is located in the picturesque Kaszubian Lake District, surrounded by beech-pine-oak forests. On the island in the lake, the nature reserve "Wyspa na Jeziorze Przywidzkim" was established in 1954, covering an area of 4.55 hectares. The island is covered with beech and oak trees, some of which are over 180 years old. On the peninsula, well-preserved traces of an early medieval hillfort with a protective rampart are visible. In the forest surrounding the lake, near the border with Piekło Górne and Dolne, remnants of a barrow cemetery can be found. Two fused small-leaved linden trees, serving as a natural monument, grow on the northern shore.
After completing the route from the hotel, we reach a resting place, perfect for a picnic (and a swim in the lake). There are wooden tables and benches, a place for a bonfire, and a gentle, sandy entrance to the lake. The starting point of the red cycling trail is also here, accessible to tourists of all skill levels.
The cycling trail forms a loop around Lake Przywidzkie. Cyclists practically keep the water surface in view along the route, but the most beautiful views of the lake can be enjoyed outside the main summer season when the leaves fall from the trees. The route leads along the shore, but that doesn't mean it's flat. The elevated and quite undulating terrain around the trough lake causes the gravel road along its shore to overcome numerous hills, requiring a bit of effort from the traveler. However, this effort is quickly rewarded with beautiful scenery. From the lake's shore, a small island with a reserve of 200-year-old oaks and beech trees can be seen. A bit further, just after a sharp turn, a cape emerges, on which there is a hillfort. Both mysterious and interesting places are connected with many local legends. They speak, among other things, about the enchanted princess Privisa, treasures sunk in the lake waters, and underground passages connecting the island to the mainland. It can be said that this area was not without reason designated as the Przywidzki Protected Landscape Area.
Around the lake, you can also take a walk with Nordic walking poles—a Nordic Walking path is prepared here. It runs along the shore, and you can plan a swim in the lake along the way. A convenient place to immerse yourself in the water is available not only at the Przywidz bathing area but also on the eastern side of the lake. Duration of the walk: 2.5 hours.
At the municipal guarded beach in Przywidz, you can rent water equipment and see the lake from a completely different perspective.
The route from the hotel to the lake is 2.5 km long and leads through a beech-pine-oak forest. Beautiful views and a suitable surface allow walkers, cyclists, hikers, and runners to enjoy the route.
Most of the route is a sandy forest road. It is well-packed, and it can be easily traversed, also with a trekking bike. After covering a few hundred meters, there is a steep descent with a slope of 15 degrees over a distance of 200 meters. On the left side, you will see a large meadow with a hunting hide. Cars do not drive here, it is quiet and peaceful. The only "disturbance" to the silence may be the singing of birds.
